The Card Market
Where it lives
Open the Cards screen and tap Market. The Card shop has a Market link too. The market shows every card other players are selling right now, with filters for piece, rarity and edition, and sorting by newest, cheapest, priciest or ending soonest.
Each listing shows the card, its rarity and edition, who is selling it, how long it has left, and its price.
Buying a card
Every listing shows the card, its rarity and edition, and its price in FOCUS. Tap Buy and the card is yours.
- It arrives fully charged. Whatever uses the seller had spent, the card you receive has all of its uses back. You never buy a worn-out card.
- You pay the listed price, nothing more.
Selling a card
Open any card on the Cards screen. Below its details is Sell on the market. Pick the copy, type your price, and tap List.
Before you list, the panel shows exactly what happens:
- The fee: 2% of your price, paid by the seller. It is waived during alpha, but the panel always shows it.
- The refocus: if your copy has spent uses, the sale pays to restore them for the buyer, out of your price. A fresh copy costs nothing here.
- What you receive: your price, minus the refocus (and the fee, once it is charged).
Your price has to cover the refocus and still leave you at least 1 FOCUS, so the panel tells you the lowest price that copy can take.
Type a price and the panel shows the fee, the refocus, and exactly what you receive.
A listing lasts 7 days. If nobody buys it, the card comes back to you. You can withdraw a listing at any time, and the card is back in play at once. You get a notification when your card sells.
Who can trade
- Your account must be at least 3 days old, or you must have played one ranked match.
- The same two players can trade 3 times a week.
- You can't buy your own listing.
These limits keep the market for real trades between real players.
Cards you can't sell
- Starter cards as plain Common copies. Everyone has one, so they are not sold. A Rare or Epic edition of a starter card can be.
- While you're playing. You can't list while you hold a seat in a live tournament, or while a match you just played with that card is still being settled. List it afterward.
- Cards from a paid registration package. They play like any card, but they can't be sold or traded on the market.
Club editions
A club edition keeps its club when it changes hands, and a club edition is played by its own club's members. Use the edition filter to see universal cards or a single club's editions, and check the edition before you buy.
Fair play
- FOCUS moves only as payment for a card. You can't send FOCUS to another player. Using the market to pass FOCUS to a friend or between your own accounts breaks the rules, and accounts that do it can be restricted.
- Never trade cards, FOCUS or accounts for real money, here, in Discord or anywhere else. FOCUS can't be exchanged for cash, and accounts can't be transferred (our Terms of Service).
- Prices are set by players. The market never sets or suggests a price.
